I took up embroidery during the COVID Pandemic when musical performances came to a halt. After decorating most of my clothing with embroidery, I moved on to drawing my own designs, exploring textile collage, acrylic painting, mixed media collage and now oil and cold wax. My current work is intuitive and often abstracted from the landscape. I have found that riffing with paint and paper and other materials is similar to building a song.
