Inspired by Vermont's rural landscape, New England life and the color field painters of the early 20th Century.  My fields are populated with a patchwork quilt of colors, images, ascemic writing and textures layered and overlapping to represent history and an evolution of land uses from wild to working farmland to towns and cities and back. The works are in square format, oil and cold wax on wood panels.
